My name is Gladys. The taste of salvation is so sweet that you want everyone you know, especially those close to you, to experience the same joy, peace, and satisfaction in Christ. Nevertheless, for a person who has always been shy and scared to share their beliefs, I didn’t know where to begin to share my experience in Christ with my friends, my parents, and my siblings. Where could I even start when my parents thought I was running mad and had lost sense because I got baptized and proclaimed publicly that Jesus Christ is my Lord and savior? A girl who had always been very close to her mum but had spent a whole month not talking to her parents because they were angry at her because she received salvation? Where could I find that boldness and strength to tell them how satisfying it is for me to wake up with Christ, sleep with Christ, and live in Christ?

I was scared. But one night, I heard Prophet Vincent preach the power of salvation during a Prayer Warriors’ service, and my spirit caught something. I never knew that would be the beginning of my family coming to Christ and receiving salvation. Hearing the Holy Spirit tell me that it was His work and not mine to change my parents’ hearts relieved my heart. I started my battle in the secret place, just the Holy Ghost and me. Little did I know that as I spent time with Him, He was working on my parents’ hearts to come back to me seeking my prayers. When they asked me to pray for them, I knew it was the moment for me to shine and tell them about the power of salvation and lead them in a salvation prayer. Today, they are both saved and living testimonies of the miracles and wonders of God.
